What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments.
- Support quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision calculations and related financial reporting.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to assess impacts and support compliance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to analyze tax implications and provide strategic guidance.
- Assist with tax audits, examinations, and responses to taxing authorities.
- Support tax aspects of acquisitions, reorganizations, and other business initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance tax reporting accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
What Are We Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of tax accounting experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate tax accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and tax provision concepts.
- Ability to analyze complex financial and tax data and develop practical recommendations.
- Proficiency with tax software (OneSource Income Tax (OIT) and Tax Provision (OTP)), ERP systems (SAP), and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
