Senior Systems EngineerLead the system design activities for displays and precision ag applications. In addition, you will:Define and document system requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and lead the evaluation of technical options.Provide engineering direction concerning the integration of electronic sub-systems into John Deere machines and other OEM equipment.Be the system technical expert on assigned projects, analyze field data and customer feedback to identify and quantify performance or quality gaps and lead them to closure.Be responsible for all systems engineering deliverables, such as FMEAs, ECMs, VNSM database updates, etc.What Skills You Need:5 or more years of product engineering experience2 or more years of demonstrated technical leadership capabilityExperience collaborating successfully with engineers of other disciplines and working effectively with other functional groupsStrong attention to detail, ability to work quickly, and ability to adapt easily in a dynamic, diverse team environmentWhat Makes You Stand Out:Advanced degree in engineering disciplineA certificate in systems engineeringStrong understanding of systems engineering principlesExperience with Agile software development practicesExperience with agriculture or construction vehiclesExperience with vehicle electrical systems, GPS based guidance systems, telematics and/or in-field communications systemsExperience with vehicle electrical communication systems, ISO11783-based CAN networks, EthernetExperience with precision agriculture applicationsEducation (or equivalent work experience): Bachelor's degree in an engineering, science or technology related disciplineSkills and Certifications:Product engineering experienceTechnical leadership experienceSystems engineering experienceCompensation: Base salary - $80,000 to $95,000Full-time benefits: Full relocation assistance available, yes.
