Senior Systems EngineerRaytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to a mission-focused government customer within the Intelligence Community. The successful candidate will lead planning, coordination, and execution of moderately complex integration initiatives, ensuring new capabilities are effectively integrated into operational environments. This position requires close collaboration with government stakeholders and other entities to facilitate system readiness. You will contribute to the advancement of products, processes, and operational frameworks while enhancing mission effectiveness and operational resilience.

Location: Alexandria, VirginiaWhat You Will DoLead and coordinate project activities by working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful integration, execution, and delivery of mission-critical capabilitiesLeverage Satellite Operations expertise to support assigned projects, enterprise-wide efforts, and customer-directed initiativesServe as an advisor on Satellite Operations topics and capabilities. Support system testing, verification, validation, and operational checkout activities.Assist with root cause analysis and anomaly resolution following system outages or degraded performanceLead cross-functional interactions and provide support for multiple mission efforts, including the successful integration, transition, and stand up of new missionsQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.Experience supporting Satellite Operations and/or mission protection environments.Experience with project management and/or system integration.Experience working collaboratively in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor)Experience in enterprise-level planning, testing, and implementation.An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
