This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment.What You Will Do:Core Systems Engineering: Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, system trades, and system interfacesModel Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Develop and maintain detailed SysML descriptive system models, linking and synchronization of requirements, and generate design documentation / viewsInterface with cross functional teams, such as Electrical and Software engineering, to help guide subsystem development and ensure compliance with requirements throughout the entire product lifecycleFrequent interface with Customer and other program stakeholders and collaboratorsConduct and/or support technical peer reviews and provide constructive feedback; Document and provide technical guidance to other members of the design teamCommunicate technical topics and issues in a clear and concise manner to both technical peers and non-technical team membersThis role is based 100% onsite at a customer facility in Cambridge, MA.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.Experience with systems requirements, systems software, and systems hardware; experience with systems integration and/or systems test is a plusExperience with DOORS, MBSE, and Cameo / MagicDrawQualifications We Prefer:Experience in software, hardware, electrical and/or mechanical design.Experience in requirements development, design, verification, and validation.Experience syncing and tracing requirements between DOORS and SysML modeling tools such as Cameo / MagicDraw.Experience managing trade studies and design decisions.Experience effectively presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders.Experience in all phases of development: concept, requirements, design, implementation, and test.Experience supporting design reviews during all phases of development.10 or more years of experience on DoD and/or space programs.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
