If you're ready to make a difference and thrive in a dynamic environment, apply now and let's shape the future together!Roles and Responsibilities:The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the capabilities roadmap, development plan, integration, and validation/verification of complex systems for mission-critical programs. Specific responsibilities include:Develop and maintain system models using SysML and UML architectures to represent system structure, behavior, and requirementsApply MBSE methodologies throughout the systems development lifecycleCreate and maintain system architecture models that align with DoD frameworks and enterprise architecturesPerform systems lifecycle modeling from concept development through deployment and sustainmentDevelop comprehensive technical documentation including system specifications, interface control documents, and design descriptionsManage requirements and ensure traceability across the system lifecycleCollaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate system requirementsSupport configuration management and change control processesAnalyze system capabilities and collective system of systems integration capabilitiesCoordinate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplinesSupport system integration activities and verification/validation effortsParticipate in technical reviews, design reviews, and program milestonesUtilize Cameo Systems Modeler and/or MagicDraw for MBSE activitiesManage models and collaborative engineering efforts using TeamWork CloudSupport PLM processes and product data managementTrack tasks and manage workflows using Azure DevOps and/or JiraMaintain documentation and collaboration via Microsoft Office and SharePoint platformsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline (Master's Degree preferred)5-7 years of professional engineering experienceProficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler and/or MagicDrawHands-on experience developing SysML and UML architecture modelsStrong background in technical writing and documentation developmentActive Secret DoD security clearance or ability to obtain clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with agile development methodologies in systems engineering contextsKnowledge of additional MBSE tools and frameworksCertification in systems engineering (CSEP, INCOSE, or similar)Experience with DoD programs or defense contractorsProven experience in systems lifecycle modeling across multiple project phasesWorking knowledge of DoD frameworks and architectures (e.g., DoDAF, MODAF, UAF)Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, procedures, and standardsExperience with systems design methodologies and engineering processesExperience with TeamWork Cloud for collaborative model managementCompetency with Azure DevOps and/or Jira for agile project management and task trackingAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Experience with SharePoint for document management and collaborationBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR.
