Located at JB Langley-Eustis, the CIL provides a reliable resource to advance the Initial Operating Capability of NATO Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.ResponsibilitiesDesigns, installs, configures, and maintains operating systems, hardware, and networksCollaborates with cyber security and network teams to ensure system integrationDeploys, configures, and administers virtual machines within the vCenter infrastructureReviews vulnerability scans and remediates systemsBuilds and maintains transient Active Directory domain environments for validation testingPlans and directs upgrades of operating systems and designs systems enhancementsMaintains baseline system images and VMware virtual machine templatesDevelops documentation on new or existing systemsDetermines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibilityDiagnoses and resolves complex technical issues in hardware and softwareImplements warranty and support activitiesServes as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are metMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assignedParticipates in special projects as requiredRequired Qualifications5+ years of related systems engineering experienceMust possess and maintain a Secret clearanceBA/BS degree or equivalent work experienceMust have VMWare experienceExperience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) requiredExperience with vendor relationship and cost estimationPrevious experience administering Windows Server DomainsDoW 8570.1 IAT Level II CompliantPreferred QualificationsLINUX experience Highly DesiredMS Windows Certification (MCSA/MCSE)VMWare CertificationMicrosoft SQL Server and Internet Information Services (IIS) experiencePowerShell, Python, Ansible, and PowerCli experienceF5 BIG-IP experienceDepending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be requiredThe likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $120,750.
