Senior Systems EngineerRaytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment.Every day will bring new challenges, requiring you to collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of mission-critical defense systems, and you'll have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions seamlessly.What You Will Do:Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.This role can be based out of Tewksbury, Andover, or Marlborough MA or Pelham NH.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLABWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
