To support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the full-time remote Senior Systems Architect will develop and maintain enterprise and operational geospatial capabilities while advising on technology standards and leading architecture for complex cloud solutions. Key responsibilities Develop and communicate architecture products for geospatial capabilities, including current-state and target-state architectures Lead requirements analysis, system design, integration, and deployment activities to ensure alignment with DHS mission goals Provide technical direction and mentoring to teams, while coordinating technical dependencies with various stakeholders and cloud providers Required qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field 12+ years of systems, software, or enterprise architecture experience, with specific expertise in GIS/geospatial platforms Demonstrated experience with Esri Portal/ArcGIS Enterprise, AWS, and relevant cloud environments Strong knowledge of systems engineering, integration, and DevSecOps practices Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or Esri enterprise system design certification
