Senior Systems AdministratorThe Senior Systems Administrator is expected to be able to accomplish the following:Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.Required qualifications include:Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).Comptia Security+At least one Advanced Platform Certification: RHCSA or RHCE or Windows equivalentMinimum 8–12 years of progressively responsible systems administration experience.Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise, multi-user environments in DoD or Intelligence Community settings preferred.Experience operating in classified environments.We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III).
