Senior Systems AdministratorScope of Services: The Senior Systems Administrator will provide first and second-level support for a range of engineering, CADD, GIS, and project management applications, as well as desktop and workstation support.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, configuration, and acting as a State liaison for problem resolution.Responsibilities:Photogrammetric Applications: Support client configurations and upgrades; applications include ImageStation Orthopro, Stereo Display, Feature Collection, DTM Collection, Digital Mensuration, Automatic Elevations, and Image Analyst.Raster Products: Support applications such as Bentley Descartes.CADD/Engineering Design Software: Support ArcGIS, MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, InRoads Bridge, OpenRoads Bridge, InRoads Survey, OpenRoads Survey, and Bluebeam.Engineering Project Management Software: Support Bentley ProjectWise.Plotter Software: Support ProjectWise Interplot; manage client and server configurations and integration with plot devices.Licensing Support: Maintain state license pools for CADD and engineering software; coordinate with software vendors including Visual Lighting, Altiva, AutoCAD, Bentley, Bluebeam, Ensoft, ETAP, FB-Multipier, GeoCue, Global Mapper, Lusas, PTV, and Sidra Solutions.GIS Support: Support ESRI ArcGIS, Global Mapper, and related products.Desktop Support: Provide second-level Microsoft OS support and Microsoft Office application support.Workstation/Device Support: Support CADD/Engineering desktops, laptops, and peripherals including printers and large-format plotters (Client, OCE, Canon); includes troubleshooting, repair, and software configuration.Project Support: Assist in planning and implementing workstation and computer deployments, providing input on server specifications and requirements.Mandatory Expertise/Experience:10+ years of Bentley ProjectWise administration10+ years supporting photogrammetric software installation and support10+ years Bentley MicroStation CADD management (networked environment)10+ years supporting CADD applications such as InRoads and Interplot10+ years large-format plotter and scanner support in CADD environments10+ years multi-application/vendor license management10+ years project planning and management5+ years Bluebeam software supportKnowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating SystemsDesirable Expertise/Certifications (not mandatory):Bentley certifications (MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenRoads, CADD Management)Microsoft Certified Professional certificationsCompTIA certifications such as A+ or Network+***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor.
