Windows Server Systems EngineerEssential Functions:Responsible for design, architecture, administration, and maintenance of Windows Server Operating SystemsAdminister the company's Windows-based systems and related infrastructureArchitect and administer Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS resources leveraging RBACDesign, manage, and support the Microsoft Active Directory infrastructureConfigure Windows Server Operating systems. Deep understanding of GPO, File/Folder Replication, DNS and Windows domain knowledgeAdministration of enterprise group policiesMonitor, maintain, patch and upgrade all aspects of Windows Server environments including Active Directory and ADFSExperience in the design and management of high availability and Disaster Recovery of Windows systems both on-premise and in the CloudConduct research on software and systems products to enhance/ improve areas of responsibilityEstablish and maintain technical infrastructure and architecture standards to ensure that systems are scalable, reliable, secure, cost-effective, and maintainable; contribute to the development of the technology roadmap for the companyDesign and build test and production environments while maintaining proper documentation and adhering to all corporate policies and proceduresPerform root cause analysis of issues and provide recommendations to improve efficiencies and resolve problemsInteract and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and servicesAssist with the creation and implementation of security standards, policies, and proceduresAnalyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvementCommunicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocolsProvide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basisSupports Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) processes and proceduresAdditional duties as assignedRequired Education, Experience, and Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related discipline and at least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
