Senior System AdministratorQue Technology Group, Inc., is seeking Senior System Administrator to provide High Performance Computing (HPC) services in the form of enhanced HPC sustainment capabilities. These capabilities include Multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and SPD servers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systemsProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsManage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systemsProvide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systemsProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsProvide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customersOptimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planningProvide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systemsProvide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticketsProvide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution processConfigure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceSupport the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardwarePossess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integrationRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in technical disciplineMinimum of ten (10) years of system administration experience or fifteen (15) years' experience in lieu of degree.DoD 8570 IAT II level certificationBenefits:Competitive salaryCompany Medical/Dental/Vision plans - Company paidShort-term Disability, Long-term disability and Life Insurance - Company paidBusiness/ First Class travel upgrade for 7 hour or longer flights & company card will be provided for expensesVacation / Personal days granted at 25 days per yearPaid Federal Holidays - 11 days$5,000 Annual Professional Development Fund plus 40 paid hours if in class401K with 6% company match; all contributions are immediately vested by EmployeeEmployee will be paid a bonus of $10,000 per employee hired based on their referralUp to 3 paid Code Red days due to customer closureQue Technology Group, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
