CDW Contract Coworker – 6 months

CDW is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support a cloud-first, hybrid infrastructure environment. This hands-on role focuses on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware, endpoint management, network infrastructure, incident escalation, automation, and operational continuity across a distributed multi-site organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware, Active Directory/Entra ID, domains, certificates, backup/recovery, and monitoring.
• Lead escalations for complex infrastructure incidents, including restoration, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, upgrades, and cutovers.
• Support Intune, Delinea / Secret Server, Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, Samsung Knox, Cradlepoint, PaperCut, and related infrastructure services.
• Use PowerShell, infrastructure-as-code, templates, and automation to improve consistency and repeatability.
• Mentor administrators, maintain runbooks/documentation, and coordinate technical vendors and managed-service providers.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience with significant hands-on Microsoft Azure infrastructure management experience.
• Microsoft 365 administration experience, including SharePoint, Exchange, Entra ID, Purview, and Copilot.
• Microsoft Intune and Broadcom VMware administration experience.
• Experience with Delinea / Secret Server, Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, Samsung Knox, and Cradlepoint.
• Experience with domain/certificate management and PaperCut/cloud printing.
• Ability to lead complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, incident mitigation, and technical coordination.
• Understanding of Data/AI with an AI-minded approach to process management, generative AI, and system monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Seagull BarTender Cloud label software.
