Summary:
Provides complex technical support during nursing care of the surgical patient for all specialties under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Adheres to the standards of practice and policies of the hospital and the department in order to ensure effective department services.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an approved technical/vocational program for surgical technicians.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
Credentials:
- Certified Surgical Technologist
- American Heart or Red Cross BLS (current)
