Senior Supply Planning ManagerThis role is part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Supply team responsible for leading the end-to-end supply planning function to ensure optimal product availability while balancing inventory, capacity, and cost for the North America business unit. This role will play a critical part in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), driving alignment across demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to achieve service and financial targets.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and business goalsDevelop mid- to long-term capacity and supply strategies to support growth and mitigate risksPartner with Demand Planning to translate demand plans into feasible supply plansLead supply review meetings as part of the S&OP cycleProvide scenario modeling and recommendation to address supply-demand imbalancesCollaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams to ensure execution of supply plansEstablish inventory policies, safety stock levels, and replenishment strategiesDrive initiatives to improve service levels while reducing excess and obsolete inventoryIdentify supply risks and develop contingency and mitigation plansLead continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processesDrive digital transformation initiatives like implementation of a new SAP IBP Supply Module in North AmericaContinually evaluate and build upon current processes to improve efficiency and reduce costsWork closely with the Customer Service team to ensure continuity between planning and customer expectationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)8–12+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or supply chain managementProven experience in S&OP / IBP processesStrong understanding of ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, APO, Kinaxis, OMP, Oracle)Experience managing complex, multi-site or global supply chainsDemonstrated leadership and people management experienceStrong Microsoft Office Suite and SAP skillsStrong analytical and financial modelling skills: can work with large data sets to provide analytical support to all aspects of the businessExcellent oral and written skillsAbility to travel up to 15%Ardagh Metal Packaging is a leading global supplier of sustainable, infinitely recyclable metal beverage cans to brand owners. This role is bonus eligible.
The bonus incentive program is based on the company meeting or exceeding certain targets.
