This role ensures that production activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and production schedules.
The Night Shift Paint Supervisor provides direct leadership to paint employees, supports workflow execution, resolves operational issues, and coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity between shifts.This position plays a critical role in maintaining productivity, supporting employee performance, minimizing rework, and driving continuous improvement within paint operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate night shift activities within the paint departmentLead daily execution of production requirements to support schedule attainment and on-time deliveryAssign work and establish priorities based on production demands, manpower, and material availabilityMonitor department performance to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standardsEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirementsEnforce standard work practices, procedures, and policies within the paint departmentProvide coaching, guidance, and support to employees to enhance performance, accountability, and technical developmentConduct shift start-up meetings, communicate daily goals, and address operational prioritiesCoordinate shift handoff with day shift leadership to ensure smooth transition of work, priorities, and issuesAbility to work night shift and support extended hours or weekends as neededAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment in accordance with job requirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsQualificationsBachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience.
