ey ResponsibilitiesI
- ndependently lead the design and modification of new and existing substation facilities.P
- repare project scopes, conceptual site layouts, single-line diagrams, budget estimates, and engineering documentation.P
- roduce and update detailed substation drawings using CAD software.R
- evise as-built drawings based on field verification and construction changes.D
- esign site grading plans and develop Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) containment systems.C
- reate detailed engineering packages, including grounding plans, conduit routing, equipment layouts, and control building designs.P
- repare complete technical specifications, construction drawings, and bid documentation.R
- eview and approve vendor drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.P
- rovide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.P
- erform field inspections to validate construction quality and verify design implementation.T

e successful candidate must have/show:Ba
- chelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.6+ years experience in substation design.Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing technical documentation and collaborating with stakeholders.Comprehensive understanding of substation equipment, including power transformers, circuit breakers, capacitor banks, and related infrastructure.Desire to progress. Great communication skills.
