We're looking for a motivated Substation Design Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on critical energy infrastructure projects across North America.

- You'll be responsible for substation electrical design, planning, and analysis-supporting both new construction and upgrades. Your work will include:
- Designing and reviewing substation layouts, plan and profiles, one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, grounding layouts, and protective device drawings
- Performing engineering studies: short-circuit, grounding, voltage drop, and equipment rating
- Developing technical specifications for procurement and construction
- Coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to manage design deliverables
- Conducting field inspections and supporting troubleshooting efforts
- Tracking project status, responding to client feedback, and ensuring design accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), ABET Accredited
- 7+ years of experience in substation design or related electrical engineering
- Familiarity with applicable codes (e.g., IEEE, NESC, NEC)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- PE license is required
