As a Senior Subcontracts Administrator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on the Senior Subcontracts Administrator joining our team to help support and secure some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects across the country.HOW A SENIOR SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Administers subcontracts through pre-award planning, subcontract award, post-award administration, and closeoutDocuments all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policySupports new business activities including issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), soliciting subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and evaluating proposal submissionsPerforms analysis on proposed subcontractor pricing to ensure price reasonablenessProvides advice and interpretation of contract requirementsTeam player who is willing to jump in and help others Subcontracts Administrators meet critical deadlines and is willing to at times work additional hours to meet mission needsThe ability to quickly move from one action to another with a strong memory and attention to detailGenerate reports or responses to data calls on subcontract activity as requiredServes as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issuesInitiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliersParticipates in special projects as requiredMay coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionalsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Bachelor's degreeRequired Experience: 5+ years of related experience in contracts, subcontracts administration, supply chain or large procurement activitiesRequired Technical Skills: Microsoft Office SuiteRequired Skills and Abilities:Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oralAbility to juggle multiple RFPs and subcontracts status and actions. Effective communication skillsAbility to operate and negotiate independently and escalating when necessaryProblem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given dayCustomer service skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situationsSecurity Clearance Level: NoneLocation: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Herndon, VA.

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $85,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
