While you work to make an impact alongside other exceptional professionals, you will be rewarded with competitive salary and benefit packages and plenty of resources for career growth.In this role, you will be responsible for the management of the complete procurement process from proposal preparation activities, negotiations, administration of subcontracts and execution of supplier management activities to provide for the acquisition of equipment and services in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications for Programs for the U.S. and international customers.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Perform subcontract negotiation and subcontract administration on new and existing subcontractsPerform day-to-day subcontract administration in support of assigned subcontractsAdminister full life cycle subcontract management, including but not limited to proposal support, negotiations of non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitations packages to subcontractors, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiations of terms and conditions, award of subcontracts, subcontract administration, issue resolution and closeout activitiesMaintain subcontract proposal and contract documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policiesEnsure compliance with FAR, DFARS and Prime Contract flow-down provisions, company policies and procedures, and subcontract provisions across the programReview solicitations and Prime Contract awards to effectively flow down required documents and clausesPrior experience participating in a CPSR audit and understanding of compliance requirementsNegotiate terms and conditions in addition to nondisclosure agreements, proprietary information agreements, blanket agreements, teaming agreements and long-term supply agreementsReview and process subcontractor invoices to ensure compliance with the contractual requirementsPerform data entry using various databases and perform any other duties or tasks as assignedNote about Location: This is a Hybrid-friendly role and may be supported from either Minneapolis, MN or Sterling Heights, MI.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsTypically requires a Bachelors degree and four years related experience, or the overall equivalentFamiliarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and an good understanding of the role of subcontractors in complex industriesExperience as a senior level individual contributor with experience supporting major procurement efforts in a Department of War (DOW) contracting environmentKnowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations and the nature of flow-down requirementsKnowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)International Procurement experienceUnderstanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirementsComprehensive understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/processStrong working experience generating, negotiating and executing major subcontractsDemonstrable experience of negotiating terms and conditionsDemonstrated ability to resolve contractual conflicts with subcontractors through negotiations and contractual vehiclesProject / Supplier ManagementFinancial AcumenStrategic/Critical ThinkingAbility to find win-win solutions; a "make it happen" attitudeProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsA clear understanding of regulatory and trade compliance, particularly with regards to export and import controlsAdvanced degree and/or certification in CPSM, CPM, CIPS or CFCMExperience in working in industries with highly regulated environments desirablePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $ Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
