Position Summary
Our Client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural engineering projects focused on dam safety, hydroelectric power facilities, and hydraulic structures . This individual will serve as a technical leader within the Dam Safety practice, managing projects, mentoring junior engineers, supporting business development, and collaborating with regulatory agencies and clients.
Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Education
- BS in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (ABET accredited)
- MS preferred
Licensure
- Active Professional Engineer (PE)
- Ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states
Experience
- 15-25 years of structural engineering experience
- Strong experience with:
- Dam engineering
- Hydraulic structures
- Hydroelectric facilities
- Concrete and steel structural design
- Project management experience
- Construction drawing and specification preparation
