The Opportunity
This position combines technical engineering, project management, mentoring, and client-facing responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Structural design and analysis for commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and utility projects
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Reviewing calculations, reports, and construction documents
- Coordinating with architects, contractors, owners, and engineering teams
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers
- Participating in quality control and code compliance reviews
- Supporting business development and client relationship management
- Leading projects from concept through construction completion
Ideal Background
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- 7+ years of structural engineering experience
- Experience managing projects and client relationships
- Strong knowledge of building codes, AISC and ACI standards
- Experience with steel, concrete, infrastructure, or industrial structures
- Desire to mentor and develop younger engineers
- Strong communication and leadership skills
