Senior Storage Engineer Opportunity - Leading High Frequency Trading Firm - New York

Overview

My client, a leading high frequency trading firm, seeking to build out their US office, is looking for an elite Storage Engineer to join their firm.

The successful individual will join a team that builds and maintains the computers, networks, data storage, operating systems and software that allow their trading and research platforms to run worldwide.

You'll be taking over management of their existing storage infrastructure and be responsible for the design, automation and management of future storage solutions to support their large scale research environment.

Responsibilities

• Take over management of existing storage infrastructure
• Design, automation and management of future storage solutions to support a large-scale research environment
• Work with Linux systems and storage technologies (NetApp, Isilon, RAID, ZFS, and other filesystems)
• Scripting and automation using Python or Shell

Qualifications

• Deep Linux experience
• Knowledge of NetApp / Isilon, RAID, ZFS and other filesystems
• Scripting/automation in Python or Shell
