Contractor - Senior Staff Software EngineerThe successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of machine learning and computer vision prototype systems in cloud environment. The candidate should be motivated, dynamic, and comfortable with a fast-paced small team environment. The candidate will work closely with other members of a multi-disciplinary team to create high quality and high performing solutions.Responsibilities include:Development of computer vision algorithms for 3D Video, object detection, multiple object tracking, etc.Development of federated learning PoC systems in cloud environmentDevelopment algorithms and prototypes always keeping quality in mindParticipate in system design and software architecture designQualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experienceProgramming experiences with Python, C++ or other languages5+ years of relevant software engineering experienceExperiences in TensorFlow or PyTorch, or other deep learning frameworks (like Caffe2, etc)Familiarity with system bring-up, application development, and new hardware architecture is essential as we will be working across a range of new technology areas as part of early prototypingCreative, resourceful, and innovative problem solverAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and small team environmentEnthusiastic, action oriented, capable of independently solving complex technical problems and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiencesStrong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred: Knowledge of open source software platforms and tools such as OpenCV a plus.
Knowledge with computer vision, machine learning, robotics, or artificial intelligence will be a plus.
