Senior / Staff Nurse (MAH Day Ward)

You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centred and compassionate nursing care to our patients in the Day Ward.

Your Key Responsibilities Are

• Plans, provides and evaluates nursing care according to patient's needs, doctor's orders and hospital policies.
• Upholds hospital nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring and infection control.
• Keeps Senior Nurse Manager/ Nurse Manager / Doctor informed on patient's condition, treatment/ intervention and outcome.
• Takes active measures to ensure the safety of patients. Report all occurrence incidents to Ward or Senior Nurse Manager / Nurse Manager-on-Call
• Works cooperatively with other Hospital Departments to provide holisti patient care.
• Ensures accurate billing procedures.
• Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
• Able to provide patient care with the rest of the team members.
• Comfortable to work for 6 days work week - Monday to Saturday (am/pm shift) and to do on-call. Sunday & PH = Off.
• Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
