Electrical Engineer / Electrical SpecialistFacilities Engineering – Manufacturing PlantPosition SummaryThe Electrical Engineer / Electrical Specialist will support the Facilities Engineering team by ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems across the manufacturing plant. This role focuses on electrical infrastructure, equipment support, code compliance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain uptime and support production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of facility electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and emergency power systemsCollaborate with Facilities Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and Production teams to support plant operations and minimize downtimeTroubleshoot electrical issues affecting building systems, utilities, and manufacturing equipmentReview electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications for new projects and facility upgradesCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and utility providers on electrical work and service interruptionsEnsure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and internal policiesSupport capital projects, renovations, and expansions by providing electrical engineering input and field oversightAssist with preventative maintenance programs and reliability improvementsParticipate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for electrical failuresMaintain documentation, drawings, and asset records related to electrical systemsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training and experienceExperience working with industrial or manufacturing electrical systemsStrong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safe work practicesAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsHands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred:Experience supporting facilities or utilities in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with medium- and low-voltage power distribution systemsExperience managing or overseeing electrical contractorsPLC, controls, or automation exposure (depending on plant needs)Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certificationsWork EnvironmentManufacturing and industrial facility settingCombination of office-based engineering work and on-site field supportMay require occasional off-shift or weekend support during outages or critical workWhat We OfferOpportunity to work on critical infrastructure supporting high-volume manufacturingCollaborative facilities and engineering team environmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsLong-term growth opportunities within engineering and operationsSalary Ranges:$134,500.00 - $193,500.00
