Operating at the architectural level, the full-time Senior Staff Data Engineer will drive platform-wide technical decisions, own critical data infrastructure across the full data lifecycle, and mentor the engineering team in a remote-eligible environment. Key responsibilities: Drive platform-wide technical decisions and mentor team members Own and evolve critical infrastructure across the full data lifecycle, including data ingestion, storage, enrichment, and serving Architect and deliver new data platform capabilities from inception to general availability, ensuring alignment with organizational standards Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience 8+ years of experience in data engineering, distributed systems, or software engineering with a focus on data infrastructure 5+ years of experience specifically on data platform or data systems teams Expertise in distributed systems design for data workloads, including streaming, batch, and real-time serving Hands-on experience with event streaming platforms and batch processing stacks
