PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Under the direction of the Controller, responsible for financial reporting and monthly balance sheet reconciliation. Performs a variety of complex and routine accounting functions in support of the Corporation's accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting. Prior related work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
- Strong knowledge of accounting in a healthcare environment, preferably in a not-for-profit.
- Knowledge of GAAP and grant accounting.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
