Key responsibilities Architect, install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances across complex, multi-server Windows environments Lead application performance engineering by analyzing execution plans and collaborating with development teams for optimizations Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies, ensuring compliance with RTO/RPO targets through regular drills Required qualifications 7+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience in large-scale, mission-critical production environments Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 / 2025 on Windows Server 2019 / 2022 Advanced T-SQL skills, including query optimization and performance troubleshooting Proven experience architecting and supporting Always On Availability Groups and disaster recovery solutions Strong command of performance diagnosis tools such as Wait Statistics and Extended Events
