VISTAS is seeking a Senior SQL Developer to join one of our direct clients. Our client is looking for an experienced SQL professional to support their data warehousing and ETL initiatives.
Location: Remote (Client based in Scottsdale, AZ)
Contract Duration: 6+ months
Role Description
- As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining complex SQL databases
- Designing and modeling databases to meet business requirements
- Creating, managing, and optimizing ETL processes using SSIS
- Applying analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- This is a remote contract role with the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a dynamic team.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in SQL development
- Expertise in SSIS and ETL processes
- Strong experience with SQL Data Warehousing
- Solid skills in Database Design and Data Modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Skills
- Experience with large-scale data warehouses and performance tuning
- Knowledge of best practices for data quality, security, and governance
