Senior Solution Architect For Mission Critical Controls/ Data CenterThe Senior Solution Architect for Mission Critical Controls/ Data Center is responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing mission-critical systems that support real-time BMS/EPMS monitoring, control, and analytics. This role bridges business needs, operational requirements, and technical architecture to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and performance of data center mission critical control environments.Minimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fieldExperience: Experience with monitoring, control systems, or real-time data platforms. Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Systems Architect, or similar role. Knowledge of mission-critical environments using PLC's, SCADA, Rockwell and Ignition software, EPMS software knowledge.

However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigns end-to-end solution architectures for mission control systems, including data gathering, processing, visualization, and BMS/EPMS control platformsDefines architecture standards, reference designs, and best practices for mission-critical data center solutionsEnsures solutions meet requirements for availability, resilience, latency, and scalabilityIntegrates infrastructure, applications, OT systems, and monitoring tools into a unified mission control environmentCollaborates with client, customer, consulting engineers and vendor to ensure seamless interoperabilityOversees integration of vendors platforms and provide guidance in developing FTI mission critical solutionsWorks closely with business leaders, operations teams, and engineers to translate operational needs into technical solutionsLeads design reviews, and architecture discussions to create a client functional design specificationProvides technical guidance throughout the project lifecycleEmbed monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities into solutionsSupports implementation teams during deployment, testing, and go-live phasesValidates that delivered solutions align with approved architecture designsTroubleshoots complex system and integration issuesEvaluates emerging technologies relevant to mission control and data center operationsRecommends improvements to performance, automation, observability, and cost efficiencyContributes to long-term technology roadmapsStrong understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, and distributed systemsAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersSystems integration across both BMS, EPMS and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systemsHigh-availability and resilience designAnalytical thinking and problem solvingStrong documentation and communication skillsReliable, scalable mission control solutions that meet operational demandsStrong alignment between business goals and technical architectureWork strongly with the FTI teamwork and culturePerforms other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
