Senior Solutions ArchitectCorning is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support the development and commercialization of connectivity solutions for a major hyperscale data center customer. In this role, you will work across customer, engineering, and internal business teams to translate technical requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities include:Gathering customer requirements and supporting solution developmentActing as a technical interface between customers and internal engineering teamsCoordinating prototype efforts and leading field trials for new productsDeveloping installation, handling, and testing proceduresDelivering training to customers, design teams, and contractorsSupporting commercialization activities, including documentation, design tools, and cross-functional coordinationRequired qualifications:BS in Engineering Related Studies (i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Optics)5+ years of experience in telecommunications, data centers, or a related industryStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to distinguish color-coded cabling and optical fiber componentsWillingness to travel up to 25% and work outside standard business hours as neededPreferred qualifications:Project management or project coordination experienceStrong knowledge of fiber optic products, structured cabling systems, and related installation practicesTelecom manufacturing experienceBackground in engineering services, technical field support, or customer solution developmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple priorities and drive work to completion independentlyThis position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $95,042.00 - $130,683.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.Corning offers you the total package.
