We are seeking a Senior Software Test & Validation Engineer to serve as the Product Owner for Test , responsible for defining and driving the overall testing strategy for hardware-integrated systems. This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong technical depth and the ability to translate customer needs into robust validation solutions.
The ideal candidate is a thought leader who can drive quality from a systems perspective—not a tactical/manual tester.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and drive the overall test and validation strategy
* Translate customer requirements into technical validation solutions
* Own, build, and prioritize the team backlog; define user stories and acceptance criteria
* Lead Program Increment (PI) planning and coordinate cross-team dependencies
* Formally approve features and user stories based on defined "Definition of Done"
* Ensure compliance with FDA / regulated environment standards
* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and promote built-in quality
* Present technical findings and project results to diverse stakeholder groups
Required Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in software testing for hardware-integrated or embedded systems
* Strong experience in Verification & Validation (V&V)
* Experience in FDA, FAA, or other regulated environments
* Strong leadership and Product Owner mindset
* Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
