DescriptionSAIC is hiring a Senior Software Systems Engineer to join the Army UAS Training Test team located in Huntsville, Alabama (Redstone Arsenal).This is a multi-disciplined team that covers a wide range of testing scopes, including testing physical and virtual network systems, software applications, and UAS control interfaces. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and switching gears supporting complex systems since this position will be working with multiple operating system types (Windows, Linux, etc.), networking architectures, and across multiple UAS platforms.QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience. Four (4) years relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.Required Clearance:Must have an active Interim Secret Security Clearance; must be able to obtain a Secret Security ClearanceRequired Skills:5+ years of experience in software systems deployment and troubleshooting, software development, or software integration Must have experience providing field and sustainment level maintenanceAbility to interact and work closely with the software development team to assist Senior Engineers in the design, development, testing and integration of software systemsExperience working in a software development environmentMS Office productsDesired Skills:Familiarity with working in an Agile/SCRUM environment Experience developing, executing and reviewing automated testsExperience operating objective UAS systems (Gray Eagle and/or Shadow) and their trainers (Embedded Trainer—ET / Universal Mission Simulator—UMS)MS Azure experience This position requires US citizenship.Job Field: SoftwareTravel: Yes, 75 % of the Time
