Senior Software Quality Engineer (SaaS)

This role combines hands-on manual testing, test automation, API validation, data reconciliation, quality process design, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be comfortable working directly with Product Managers, Developers, Customer Success teams, and leadership to ensure software quality throughout the SDLC. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who enjoys building scalable quality systems rather than simply executing test cases.

This role is fully remote, though you must be available to work EST hours and be legally authorized to work in the United States.Core ResponsibilitiesQuality Strategy Develop and continuously improve QA processesEstablish testing standards and best practicesCreate risk-based testing approachesDrive quality metrics and reportingImprove release confidence and production stabilityManual Testing Create detailed test plans and test casesPerform exploratory testingExecute regression testingValidate complex business workflowsReproduce and document defects clearlyTest automationDesign and implement automated testing frameworksBuild and maintain UI automation suitesBuild and maintain API automation suitesIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelinesMonitor and improve automation coverage and reliabilityAPI Testing Test REST APIs using tools such as PostmanValidate authentication, authorization, and error handlingCreate automated API regression suitesAnalyze API logs and payloadsData Validation & Reconciliation Validate application data against underlying databasesPerform data reconciliation between systemsInvestigate production issues using SQLVerify integrations and ETL processesBuild repeatable validation processesDocumentation Create and maintain: test plans, QA processes, release validation checklists, regression suites, status reports, defect documentationCollaborationPartner directly with developers during feature deliveryParticipate in design and requirements reviewsDrive bug triage discussionsCommunicate quality risks clearly to stakeholdersRequired Experience Must Have5+ years QA experience within SaaS productsDemonstrated experience owning quality for complex web applicationsStrong manual testing experienceStrong test automation experienceExperience testing APIsStrong SQL skillsExperience working in Agile environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred ExperienceAI-Enabled QA Experience using AI tools to improve quality processesSaaS Experience Experience with: B2B SaaS platforms, enterprise software, multi-tenant applications, authentication/SSO systems, complex business workflowsMore about UsWe foster a collaborative, engaging, mission-driven culture that values innovation and prioritizes customer success.
