Building and evolving quality platforms, the full-time Senior Software Quality Engineer will enhance the Horizon platform by creating automated testing systems, developer tooling, and improving CI/CD processes, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain quality infrastructure, automation, and developer tooling to improve software release confidence Collaborate on solution design and quality strategy, defining testable acceptance criteria and coaching Software Engineers on effective quality practices Continuously analyze and improve engineering systems and user experience metrics, exploring new ideas and reducing operational toil through automation Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining quality platforms and automated testing systems for production software Strong understanding of software quality, including testing, observability, and application performance Experience designing automated testing frameworks and CI/CD quality gates Proficient in using production telemetry and application performance monitoring tools to identify quality improvements Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows and a demonstrated ability to drive quality initiatives independently
