C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Master Data Management (MDM) team within Technology. This team owns the customer, carrier, and location golden records that power critical business processes across our global logistics platform. In this role, you will help build and evolve the platforms, services, and data products that ensure our master data remains accurate, complete, and trusted at scale. You will work with both internal and external data sources to enrich, validate, match, and govern core business entities, enabling high-quality data across the enterprise. The systems you build will play a foundational role in quoting, rating, booking, tracking, and delivering millions of customer shipments. You will tackle complex engineering challenges involving data quality, identity resolution, data governance, automation, distributed systems, and AI-driven workflows. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about building scalable, resilient platforms and who enjoy solving difficult data and systems problems. The ideal candidate is comfortable leveraging modern AI-powered development tools and is genuinely curious about how to build reliable, production-grade automation, intelligent workflows, and autonomous agents within an enterprise environment. As a senior engineer, you will help shape technical direction, mentor other engineers, and drive engineering excellence while partnering closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders. Robinson's master data platform responsible for maintaining trusted customer, carrier, and location golden records used across the enterpriseContribute to the technical roadmap and architectural direction of the master data platformLead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentDesign and develop proof of concepts (POCs) to validate new ideas and technologiesBuild resilient and scalable solutions that are critical to the platform's successConduct thorough research to identify and adopt the best technical products and solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionalityStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvementRequired Qualifications:6+ years of experience designing and driving implementation of large-scale software products or services that span multiple systemsExperience developing POCs and bringing innovative ideas to lifeDemonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teamsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience with modern development languages (ex. .Net CORE, C#)Experience with database objects in relational (ex. MS SQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (ex. MongoDB, Elastic, Cosmos)Experience with microservice architecture, CQRS, event driven and eventually consistent system design patterns and system flowsExperience with data streaming architecture and frameworks (Kafka, ESB)Experience establishing testing patterns, acceptance testing criteria, and reviewing others’ automated testsExperience with version control systems (ex. GIT, GITHub, TFS, etc.)Experience with CI/CD continuous integration / continuous deployment practicesExperience building cloud native applications and services (ex.
