Senior Software Engineer

Our client is building the next generation of supply chain technology solutions and is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a growing team in Vinings, GA. This team is focused on modernizing enterprise applications by migrating functionality away from legacy SAP platforms and developing cloud-native, Java-based solutions that improve business processes, user experiences, and operational efficiency.

About the Role

The Senior Full Stack Developer will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting modern applications that power critical supply chain functions. The ideal candidate brings deep Java and Spring Boot expertise, a strong understanding of cloud-native application development, and the ability to contribute across both backend and frontend technologies. This individual will work closely with local and offshore development teams to deliver scalable, event-driven solutions while helping replace SAP-based business rules with modern APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance APIs and microservices that replace legacy SAP functionality.
• Develop and maintain modern web applications and user interfaces using React and related frontend technologies.
• Participate in event-driven architecture design and implementation.
• Integrate applications with SAP and other enterprise systems as needed.
• Collaborate with distributed and offshore development teams.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and help establish engineering standards as the local team grows.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of software development experience, with 7+ years preferred.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Understanding of cloud-native development principles.
• Experience building scalable enterprise applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working effectively with offshore or distributed teams.
• Ability to work across both backend and frontend development efforts.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• Experience with:
• BigQuery
• Supply chain, logistics, or enterprise operations experience.
• Experience migrating legacy applications to modern cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with other public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and a strong understanding of cloud-native concepts.
