Senior Software Engineer — VETi Platform

Role

Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing software for Kodiak’s AI-enabled wearable vision platform (VETi), from prototypes to reliable engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• design, develop, and optimize software for device control, imaging workflows, AR/VR interfaces, real-time signal and image processing
• work with embedded platforms, sensors (LiDAR, OCT), and hardware accelerators
• collaborate across software, hardware, and scientific teams
• convert research prototypes into production-quality software for clinical and validation use

Requirements

• B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related
• 5+ years of experience with complex systems development
• proficiency in C, C++, Python
• experience with hardware integration, imaging, sensors, Linux/Windows
• problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred

• experience with embedded systems, medical imaging, AR/VR, robotics, real-time processing, GPUs, NPUs, deep learning, and edge ML deployment
