Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

• Proven background in software development, with exposure to IT infrastructure, web engineering, and application architecture
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, C , Ruby on Rails, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express, and C
• Solid understanding of scalable system design, including microservices and RESTful API patterns
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and operations
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods, including Scrum or Kanban
• Experience using version control tools such as GitHub or SVN, along with CI/CD practices for automated testing and release
• Working knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, and familiarity with NoSQL technologies where relevant
• Experience in Linux environments and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is an advantage
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle design and development of complex software systems, ensuring strong performance and scalability
• Build and deliver microservices-based solutions using RESTful APIs, cloud services, and containerization tools
• Work closely with Agile teams to plan sprints, prioritize work, and deliver software on time
• Create and maintain front-end components using frameworks such as React or Angular to support smooth user experiences
• Design, tune, and maintain SQL databases to protect data integrity and improve query efficiency
• Apply engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, design patterns, and security controls such as RBAC
• Participate in system architecture reviews, code reviews, and testing to maintain quality and continuously improve platform reliability
