What You Will Do

Serve as the technical lead for build system architecture, configuration, maintenance, and scalability for a Patriot software program

Troubleshoot complex multi-component build issues across Ada and shell scripting languages used within Patriot

Work closely with software development, integration, and DevSecOps teams to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant build processes.

Maintain and evolve build tools, including APEX, VectorCast, Static Analysis and program-specific tools

Mentor junior team members and provide build guidance to internal and external customers

Support program milestones, releases, audits, and configuration management requirements

Qualifications You Must Have

• Active U.S. Government-issued Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of experience of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with APEX, ADA 95, Git, and Clearcase version control tools.
• Experience with performing software integration and testing for embedded or real-time systems.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for the development of automation tools and test frameworks.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge of software release management and deployment best practices
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail to identify and document any anomalies or inconsistencies in software performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively report defects, progress, and test results to stakeholders.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
