ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance with Poly REQUIRED
Position Overview: Red Arch Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a priority program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience building and testing software components in an Agile environment, producing clear technical documentation, and ensuring high-quality code. The ideal candidate is proficient in Java, C++, or Python, works comfortably with Git, SQL, Postgres, AWS, and collaborates effectively using Jira and Confluence.
Hybrid TELEWORK position, up to 16 hours per week.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus Fourteen (14) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes.
Note: Eighteen (18) years total of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor’s degree.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
- Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software
- Experience with the following software development skills:
- Git
- Java, C++, Python
- Relational database, such as Postgres
- SQL
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Salary range for this position: $190,000-$195,000
