Overview
We are partnering with a fast-growing Series D startup that is redefining how engineering teams build secure software. Their developer-first security tooling is trusted by some of the biggest names in tech and backed by top-tier investors including Sequoia, Lightspeed, and Menlo Ventures.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain backend and infrastructure systems to deliver a fast and reliable experience for customers.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop APIs, data models and services that power products at scale.
- Apply a strong understanding of databases, query optimization and distributed systems; integrate third-party vendors into existing first-party code.
The Stack
- Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes and AWS. They are open to candidates willing to learn these technologies quickly.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of databases, query optimization and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend services.
- Comfort working across a modern cloud-based stack.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with other engineers across the organization.
