Software Engineer position, Intraoperative Neuromonitoring, is responsible for the software applications & systems development function on software new product initiations and sustaining.Essential FunctionsDevelops and maintains software applications & systems developmentCreates and maintains product software architectureTakes the ownership of all aspects of software development as technical contributorWrites product software documentationManages lifecycle for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing and delivery to product managementPrioritizes work to identify the root cause and creates a corrective action plan that ensures timely resolution of issuesFollows software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality softwareWorks closely with cross functional engineers, developers and Product Management throughout organization to influence product development, assisting or improving productsAccountable for software development projects from beginning to finishPerform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485Performs other duties, as assigned, such as DevOps functionsAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third partiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.QualificationsTypically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD with 3 years' experience, or equivalent experienceBachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplineExperience with Agile software development methodologies and TDDProficient understanding of software product design and development with object-oriented languagesStrong proficiency in .Net C# in a Windows and/or Web environmentStrong proficiency in Full stack development,.NET back end (C# preferred), JavaScript or TypeScript front end, HTML5, SCSS or CSSStrong proficiency in Dependency injection/Inversion of ControlGit source control experience is a plusExperience programming in C/C++Experience with Azure DevOps is essentialExperience with LitElement or Webcomponents, SignalR/Websockets, Webpack, YAML and PowerShell is a plusExperience in Qt is a plusExcellent oral, written, and graphical communication skillsMedical device experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
