Storm4 is partnered with a fast growing energy company that has built a suite of proprietary software platforms supporting critical business operations across a highly regulated market. The business is investing heavily in technology and AI enabled workflows, creating an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in the next phase of growth.

The successful candidate will own projects from concept through production, working directly with operational and commercial stakeholders to design, build, and maintain business critical applications. This role offers significant influence over architecture, engineering standards, and future technology decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise software applications
• Build and maintain web applications, backend services, and SQL based systems
• Work closely with business stakeholders to define requirements and scope projects
• Contribute to architectural discussions and long term technical strategy
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers
• Help drive adoption of modern development practices and AI enabled workflows

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with object oriented programming
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL
• Strong understanding of software design principles and engineering best practices
• Experience with DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial experience

Preferred Experience

• SQL Server
• Database performance tuning
• Application modernization projects
• Azure services including identity and security integrations
