As they continue to develop and expand their technology platform, they are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their engineering team and help build modern reporting and analytics capabilities.
Job Description:
The Senior Software Engineer will work across frontend and backend development, building high-performance reporting applications, dashboards, data visualizations, and analytics functionality. The role will involve working closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for complex financial data.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop reporting and analytics applications using Angular and TypeScript
- Build interactive dashboards, data grids, visualizations, and data-driven user experiences
- Develop and integrate C#/.NET services, REST APIs, and SQL Server solutions
- Optimize applications handling large and complex datasets
- Develop automated unit and end-to-end testing to maintain software quality
- Contribute to architecture, code reviews, technical decisions, and wider engineering improvements
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong commercial experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Solid experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, and SQL Server
- Experience building reporting, analytics, dashboard, or data visualization applications
- Strong understanding of application performance and automated testing
- Experience working in financial services, fintech, or investment management would be advantageous
