  • We need an enthusiastic self-starter who can manage time effectively across new feature work and urgent troubleshooting.

  • We are looking for someone with a strong appreciation for layered web architecture and scalable design patterns.

  • You should be comfortable adjusting to shifting product priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • You should care deeply about user experience and delivering practical value.

  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are essential, along with a history of driving engineering excellence.

  • You should have 8+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.

  • You should have 5+ years of experience with C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, MS SQL, HTML, and CSS.

  • You should bring deep experience with the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET MVC/API and .NET Core or Razor Pages.

  • You should have deep experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

  • You should have solid experience designing relational databases and writing complex MS SQL, Dapper, or similar queries.

  • You should have experience integrating RESTful APIs.

  • You should have hands‑on experience using AI tools for development; familiarity with Claude Code is a plus.

  • You should have experience working in Agile teams using Scrum principles and values.

  • You should be familiar with source control practices such as Git, GitHub, Gitflow, and CI/CD.

  • You should be committed to software best practices, including testing, coding standards, code reviews, build processes, and maintenance.

  • You should be able to learn and apply new technologies quickly across new domains.

  • You should have a solid understanding of responsive design and responsive web applications.

  • Mobile development experience with Ionic, Capacitor, or other cross-platform frameworks is a plus.

  • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications to current frameworks is a plus.

  • React experience is a plus.

  • jQuery experience is a plus.

  • Some experience with XML or XSLT is a plus.

  • Knowledge of school administration, student information, or school management software is a plus.

  • We require the candidate to work on-site in Foothill Ranch, CA, and relocate there before starting if needed.

  • We may require a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.

  • You must be eligible to work legally in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship needs.


Responsibilities:



  • We want you to contribute production code throughout the application development lifecycle.

  • You will participate in architecture and design decisions.

  • You will help improve engineering quality across the team.

  • You will help maintain and extend a mature, large-scale production system while supporting the development of its next-generation replacement.

  • You will work across both legacy and modern frameworks as we modernize the platform.

  • You will use AI-assisted development tools and help advance our use of them.

  • You will collaborate with a small on-site team of developers and QA engineers.

  • You will work closely with founders and designers on product requirements and user experience.

  • You will coordinate with our remote team supporting front-end and mobile development.

  • You will report to our Software Engineering Manager and help shape product direction with the founders.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Foothill Ranch, CA, offering a salary range of $135,000 to $175,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits that include 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental, health, life, vision, FSA, HSA, and paid time off.
