Full Time Software Architecture & Engineering
Responsibilities
Support daily Distribution Center (DC) operations on the legacy iSeries WMS while actively executing project tasks to migrate sites to Manhattan Active WM.
Partner with implementation teams to configure the Manhattan Active WM application to meet specific distribution center operational workflows, inventory strategies, and sorting parameters.
Design, develop, and deploy operational reports and dashboards using Cognos SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) to ensure seamless data visibility post-migration.
Build, modify, and test critical logistics documents, compliance labels, and operational reports required for warehouse floor execution.
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and program managers to gather robust technical and business requirements, translating them into well‑structured user stories and documentation within Jira.
Play an active role in progressive testing phases (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing) by writing test cases, validating data flows between systems, and debugging configuration issues.
Provide dedicated, on‑site or remote technical support during critical go‑live windows and the immediate hyper‑care period to ensure minimal disruption to DC operations.
Work within GCP to manage and troubleshoot data integration patterns, ensuring real‑time communication between the warehouse, carriers, and customers.
While the initial focus is on WMS, progressively take on projects involving Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other integrated logistics applications.

Minimum of 7+ years of hands‑on software development and systems analysis experience within the Warehouse Management / Supply Chain Logistics domain.
Extensive technical experience with the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform, including proficiency in RPG, RPGLE, CL, and strong SQL skills for database management and data extraction.
Deep understanding of core distribution center processes (Inbound receiving, put away, inventory management, replenishment, picking, sorting, wave management, and outbound shipping).
Hands‑on exposure to or training in Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) or recent versions of Manhattan WMOS is highly preferred.
Experience with or strong aptitude to quickly learn Cognos SCI for supply chain reporting.
Proficiency using Jira for requirement gathering, task tracking, and Agile project documentation.
