This role will be a long-term contract , with a duration of 20+ months. The role will be fully remote .
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps.
- Strong AWS experience, including cloud infrastructure and networking.
- Deep object-oriented Python development experience (beyond scripting/automation).
- Production experience with TypeScript.
- CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Kubernetes and/or Terraform.
- Pulumi, AWS CDK, or CDKTF.
- Datadog, Snowflake, Airflow, or DBT experience.
- Understanding of modern data architectures, including SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable software and cloud infrastructure in AWS.
- Develop production-grade applications using object-oriented design principles.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools such as Pulumi, CDK, or Terraform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, performance, and scalability initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers.
- Drive improvements in reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
