They’re looking for a senior backend-focused engineer who enjoys ownership, making pragmatic decisions, and building software that directly moves the business forward.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and building scalable backend systems in Python (TypeScript experience also welcomed)
- Working closely with product and leadership to shape features end-to-end
- Making commercially aware engineering decisions – balancing speed, quality and long-term value
- Owning services in production and improving them over time
- Contributing to a small, high-trust, senior engineering team
What they’re looking for
- 5–10 years’ experience as a backend or full-stack engineer
- Strong Python experience (TypeScript acceptable as a secondary stack)
- A product-minded mindset – you care about outcomes, not just code
- Experience working in commercial, customer-facing products
- Comfortable in a senior role without layers of process or management overhead
